Exciting Times Ahead…

We’re incredibly excited to share some huge news …

In May 2026, Sparks HR officially gained CPD accreditation for our Sparks HR CPD Accredited Menopause Champion Programme.

This is such an important milestone for Sparks HR and reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality, meaningful menopause education that creates real change within workplaces.

What is the Menopause Champion Programme?

Our CPD Accredited Menopause Champion Programme is designed to equip individuals within organisations with the confidence, understanding and practical tools needed to support colleagues experiencing menopause.

A Menopause Champion acts as an additional level of support within the workplace, helping to create a more open, inclusive and understanding culture around menopause. This means support does not sit solely with managers, HR teams or senior leaders.

Champions help organisations create safe spaces for conversation, improve awareness across teams and provide a visible source of support for colleagues who may be struggling.

The programme provides delegates with a deeper understanding of menopause, including symptoms, workplace impact, inclusion, legal considerations and supportive conversations. It also explores the role and boundaries of a Menopause Champion, how Champions work alongside HR and managers, the importance of confidentiality and signposting, and practical ways to help embed a supportive and menopause-inclusive culture within the workplace.

This programme is ideal for:

  • HR professionals

  • Managers and leaders

  • Wellbeing champions

  • Inclusion and diversity leads

  • Employee support networks

  • Occupational health and wellbeing teams

  • Anyone passionate about creating menopause-inclusive workplaces

At Sparks HR, we know awareness alone is not enough.

Our sessions are interactive, relatable, supportive and practical, combining professional HR expertise with compassionate delivery to help organisations create meaningful and sustainable change.

Why Menopause Support Matters

Menopause isn’t just a wellbeing conversation; it’s a workplace conversation.

Too many talented employees silently struggle with symptoms that impact confidence, concentration, attendance and wellbeing, often without support or understanding.

Creating menopause-inclusive workplaces helps organisations:

  • Improve retention

  • Reduce absence

  • Increase engagement

  • Support wellbeing

  • Strengthen inclusion and culture

  • Help people feel valued and supported at work

Most importantly, it creates workplaces where people don’t feel they have to struggle alone.

Did you know?

  • 1 in 10 women have left work because of menopause symptoms

  • Many employees do not feel comfortable discussing menopause at work

  • Lack of awareness and support can significantly impact confidence and wellbeing

  • Small workplace changes can make a huge difference to employee experience

Even more exciting news…

We are also currently awaiting news on CPD accreditation for two further programmes:

Menopause for Managers Programme

This programme is specifically designed for managers, leaders and HR who want to feel more confident supporting employees experiencing menopause.

We focus on helping managers understand menopause, its symptoms, workplace impact and why an inclusive approach matters. The programme builds confidence in having supportive conversations, understanding legal responsibilities and reasonable adjustments, challenging stigma and creating psychologically safe workplace cultures where colleagues feel supported and understood.

We also explore how simple and cost-effective reasonable adjustments can often be, helping managers recognise that meaningful support does not need to be complicated or expensive. Every session is tailored to the organisation, ensuring managers leave with practical, realistic tools and approaches they can confidently implement within their own team and workplace.

Managers often worry about “saying the wrong thing” and this training helps remove that fear and gives practical guidance that managers can genuinely use.

Menopause Colleague Awareness Programme

Our colleague awareness sessions are designed for wider teams and organisations to increase understanding, empathy and awareness across the workforce.

These sessions help to increase understanding of menopause, its symptoms and workplace impact, while encouraging open, supportive and inclusive conversations. They also build awareness of the support available, help reduce stigma and provide practical knowledge to support both colleagues and wider workplace culture because menopause awareness should never sit solely with HR.

Why work with Sparks HR?

At Sparks HR, we deliver training differently.

We combine lived experience, professional HR expertise, practical workplace understanding and compassionate delivery to create training that people remember.

Our sessions are real, engaging, supportive and tailored to your organisation … never generic or a “tick-box” approach.

Here’s what our clients say…

“The training completely changed the way our managers approach conversations around menopause. Practical, engaging and genuinely impactful”

“For the first time, I felt understood at work”

“Every manager needs to attend Menopause for Managers”

Sparks HR Transformation Programme

Training is only the beginning.  One thing we hear time and time again is:

“We loved the training … but finding time to implement everything afterwards is really hard”

and honestly … we get it.  Most organisations are already juggling huge workloads, operational pressures and competing priorities. Often, wellbeing initiatives start with the best intentions but lose momentum because there simply isn’t enough time to drive the changes forward.

That’s why Sparks HR takes things further.

Our bespoke Menopause Inclusion Transformation Programme supports organisations over several months to truly embed menopause inclusion into workplace culture.

It doesn’t matter where your organisation currently is on its menopause inclusion journey, the programme is completely tailored to your needs.

Whether menopause inclusion has been sitting on your “to-do” list and you’re not quite sure where to start, or you’ve already begun making changes and want support to take things further, Sparks HR will work alongside you to create a programme that suits your organisation, your people and your goals.

There are no off-the-shelf approaches here, everything is designed to meet you where you are and help create meaningful, sustainable change at a pace that works for your organisation.

What does this include?

We work alongside you to:

  • Understand where your organisation currently is

  • Identify gaps and opportunities

  • Review policies, practices and culture

  • Deliver training and awareness sessions

  • Support implementation

  • Help embed sustainable, long-term change

No off-the-shelf packages and no tick-box approaches.

Everything is tailored specifically to your organisation, your people, where you currently are and your goals.

At the end of the programme, organisations can receive their very own:

Sparks HR Menopause Inclusion Recognition Award

Recognising your commitment to creating a genuinely supportive and inclusive workplace.

Because true inclusion isn’t about simply having a policy, it’s about creating workplaces where people feel heard, supported, valued and able to thrive.

A personal reflection

When I first started having conversations around menopause in the workplace, I never imagined Sparks HR would grow into what it is becoming today.

Receiving CPD accreditation feels incredibly special because it validates something I’ve always believed passionately; that menopause support in the workplace deserves to be taken seriously, delivered professionally and approached with compassion.

There is still so much work to do but seeing organisations becoming more open, supportive, and willing to learn gives me so much hope for the future.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to support Sparks HR and the work we’re doing.

Find Your Spark: Real Life Menopause Moments Podcast … Plans for Series Two

Over the next few months, I’ll be starting work on recording Series Two of ‘Find Your Spark: Real Life Menopause Moments’ podcast … something I’m really excited about!

This next series will focus on showcasing the incredible work organisations are doing around menopause inclusion, workplace wellbeing and creating supportive cultures where people feel seen, heard and valued.

I’ll be looking to feature guests from organisations who are already working towards menopause inclusion or who have successfully embedded supportive practices within their workplace. I want this series to shine a light on the success stories and positive changes happening across organisations and inspire others to start having these important conversations too.

My hope is that future episodes become something managers, HR professionals and organisations can listen to as part of their own menopause inclusion journey, learning from real experiences, practical approaches, challenges, successes and honest conversations from workplaces already taking positive steps forward.

So … if you fancy being a guest, let’s chat and if you’re reading this thinking, “We’re not there yet …” then let’s sort that out together first, and maybe you’ll be joining me as a future podcast guest sharing your own menopause inclusion journey.

Catch up on Series One here.

What else has been happening?

It’s been a very exciting few weeks here at Sparks HR!

Last year it was the House of Commons and this year the House of Lords … an experience that feels incredibly special and something we are very thankful to have been part of.

Everything we do is centred around creating healthier workplace cultures, stronger people practices and environments where individuals and teams can truly thrive.

Recently, someone listened to me talking about the work Sparks HR does and said:

“Ah … you bring the human back into workplaces.”

and honestly … I absolutely loved that.

It really captures what Sparks HR is all about; people, compassion, support, inclusion and creating workplaces where humans are treated like humans.

Could it be our new tagline? What do you think? Let me know …
